Colour + Contrast Value + Emphasis Unity + Texture Line + Balance Space + Balance Colour + Unity How photographers use emphasis? Photographers use emphasis by making one part of an image stand out. Using light, focus, and colour to draw the viewers eye to the main subject. How did I use emphasis? I used emphasis by positioning the flowers in the middle of my frame and making sure there was bright enough light on the flowers to make them pop out of the picture.
